Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can I set up your art as my new desktop wallpaper?

A: You do this by right-clicking on the graphic, and then choose "Set as wallaper". Or, you can save them to your computer by right-clicking on the graphic, and then choose "Save file as", and save it on your hard drive. (Just make sure you remember where you stored it.) You can then use a wallpaper management program like WebShots - to set up the images as your wallpaper, or you can go into your system settings and set the new graphic up as your wallpaper. This way, you have a hard copy of my art, which you can take down and put back up without having to go back and re-download again.

Q: Why do the pictures on your site seem so fuzzy, blurry, and jagged?

A: What you see on the individual graphic pages, (for example: Imagining_Reality) were sized in the HTML code to fit in a normal sized browser window and keep the layout of the pages of my site in uniform. If the pictures seem jazzed and fuzzy, that's ok - there gonna look like this way on screen in a browser. When you actually set them as your wallpaper (see above question), you will be able to tell the fine details and view the graphic the way it was created to be.

Q: I set up your graphics as my wallpaper, and they still seem jazzed in some places, (like the skies - where the colors blend subtly together) or look like the colors are layered roughly in places. Why is this?

A: It may be that you may have your color settings at 256 color. You will need to turn up the color settings on your system to high color (16 bit) or true color (32 bit - if your video graphics card supports this). If you can't set your system settings higher than 256 color, you may need to upgrade your computer by getting a higher-end graphics card. I design all of my graphics in the 32-bit color environment. I have found out that those who do not have this setting available may see some jagged edges in some areas that were designed to have subtley smooth curves or deeply blended areas. I'm sorry for this inconvience. I like to render my art in the highest quality environment that I can get to.
